This project consisted of a full aquatic centre with multiple pools, all with geothermal heating. The complex includes a 25m lap pool, learn to swim pool, splash pool, large wave pool, spa, hydro slide, gymnasium, sauna, steam rooms, cafeteria and admin support facilities.
The pool filtration was provided by a combination of vacuum DE filtration for the larger pools and pressure DE filtration for the learners, splash and spa pools. The pool hall ventilation system included heat reclaim and an efficient “displacement” air distribution system.
